Inkgility gift box packaging
Branded gift box packaging for the Inkgility client giftin program. Blush pink ground with a metallic gold polka dot pattern, a black wordmark label doing the identity work, and a lid geometry designed to present rather than protect.
Client gifting packaging has to do one thing above everything else: make the recipient feel like the moment was designed for them. That means the packaging has to earn its own photograph before the gift inside is ever revealed. This box uses a saturated blush pink ground and a metallic gold polka dot pattern that catches the light when the lid is opened, with a clean black wordmark label as the calm anchor inside the visual noise.
Pattern
Metallic gold polka dots on blush pink, sized and spaced so the pattern reads as festive rather than childish. Dots slightly irregular in edge to feel foil printed rather than digital, which is the actual production spec.
Label
Black square label with a tooth cut edge, positioned centered on the long face of the box lid. The black ground calms the whole composition down and gives the eye a place to land after taking in the polka dots. Small tag closure on the side echoes the label shape.
Lid geometry
Two piece lid and base construction. The lid extends slightly past the base so the box reveals its own silhouette when photographed from above. This is the geometry that makes the box work in social media shots as much as on a doorstep.
Production notes
300gsm coated stock with matte finish on the pink ground and metallic gold foil for the polka dots. Black label offset printed with matte lamination. Interior white for high contrast against the gift item. Corner reinforcement invisible from outside so the box holds shape under stacking.
